Seniors! Say, “Thanks for the memories,” in this stunning mountain town.
There are a plethora of moments and experiences in High School, especially an individual’s senior year that will never be forgotten. From cheering at the Friday night football games to Prom, Graduation, Senior Night, the Scholarship Ceremony, or other fun occasions; High school has some amazing events that stick with us forever. One great way to keep these memories alive for high schoolers, their close friends, and their family is to grasp extraordinary senior portraits that capture who the high schooler was during that big moment of their young lives.
What is one of the most important elements high school seniors and their parents look for when they are scouting out a perfect place for their senior photo session? The most common answer I received is a natural environment. A location that is filled with color, outdoor scenery, and unique aspects that make their senior portraits stand out. Getting senior portraits done in Breckenridge, CO will nail the popular aspect of being in a natural, beautiful environment for the session. The mountainous landscape, unique town attributes, beautiful flowers in the summer, and vibrant leaves in the fall, make Breckenridge an ideal location for senior portraits.
Whether you are from out of town or live right here in Summit County, this is an unreal town to make your senior portraits outstanding… Well, other than your beautiful/handsome self!
Different locations in Breckenridge that are perfect for senior photo sessions include, but are not contained to Boreas Pass, Main Street, Lomax Placer Mine, the base of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, Lake Dillon, or the BOEC. Each location has outstanding natural surroundings that will give any senior photo session the uniqueness it deserves.
The best times of the year to take senior portraits in Breckenridge, CO is mid-summer (end of June to early August), as well as, early fall when the leaves change (late September to early October).
A Senior Photo Session Story from a Summit High School Grad:
Back in Summit High School, I was looking to get my senior photos done by someone who would allow me to fully be myself, to represent the human I was at that time in my young life before I was off on another endeavor. I was a very carefree person that cherished the outdoors of my hometown, loved to be barefoot, ski the mountains, climb trees, and swim in the lakes. Thus, I wanted my photos to say all of that.
Alisa made me feel very relaxed, made me excited to be there, and even allowed me to go barefoot for my entire session! We had a blast at the BOEC Lake, also known as the Sawmill Reservoir on Google Maps. She suggested various opportunities to just have fun, getting in the lake, sitting across the rivers on the logs and exploring. It was a super cool experience and the photos turned out just the way I wanted them to, showing exactly who I was in a stunning natural environment.
My parents still have all of our senior portraits hanging in their house. For my siblings and I, they are all perfect representations of who we were at that time and they each showed the unique, natural surrounding we each loved and still love about Colorado. Breckenridge, CO is an excellent place to take your senior photos and I assure you that the experience will be very memorable!
